Katool PMRL-200 β 7,000 lb Rated / 8,000 lb Tested Portable Two-Post Garage Lift, 110V
The Katool PMRL-200 is a portable two-post vehicle lift designed for garages that need real lifting power without committing to a permanently installed, full-height two-post. With a 7,000 lb working rating and 8,000 lb test capacity, this mid-rise lift is ideal for home garages, mobile mechanics, and light-duty workshops that want professional-style undercar access in a compact footprint.
Portable Two-Post Design
Unlike traditional fixed two-post lifts, the PMRL-200 uses a removable, portable design. Each post has an integrated rolling base that allows you to move the lift when the anchors are removed, then re-anchor it in the new location before lifting a vehicle.
- Two independent posts with built-in transport wheels.
- Use it as a fixed lift or relocate it between work areas when needed.
- Great for multi-use garages where floor space has to stay flexible.
- Compact footprint lets you work in bays that canβt accept a full-size overhead lift.
Mid-Rise Lifting for Real Undercar Access
The PMRL-200 is a mid-rise lift that raises most vehicles to about 51″ of lifting height (with adapters), giving you comfortable access for brakes, suspension, exhaust, and general service work. A low pad height of around 5.25″ helps you get under many modern cars and smaller SUVs.
- Approx. 51″ max lifting height (with adapters).
- Approx. 5.25″ minimum pad height for easier contact with low vehicles.
- Adjustable lifting arms to reach factory lift points on a wide range of vehicles.
- Ideal for wheel, brake, suspension, exhaust, and inspection work.
Capacity & Structural Performance
Katool rates this lift at a 7,000 lb working capacity, with testing performed up to 8,000 lb. It is engineered with CE-style loading criteria in mind, including testing beyond the rated capacity for both dynamic and static loads when installed and used correctly.
- Working rating around 7,000 lb for everyday service.
- Tested to 8,000 lb total load under controlled conditions.
- Approx. 3,500 lb per axle and 1,750 lb per arm (when properly positioned).
- Designed for passenger cars, crossovers, and many light trucks within rating.
110V Power for Home Garages
One of the biggest advantages of the PMRL-200 is that it runs on 110V single-phase power. Instead of needing a 220V shop circuit, you can work with a dedicated 110V / 30A line in many home or light commercial environments (always verify with a qualified electrician).
- Hydraulic power unit driven by approx. 3 HP motor.
- Requires a dedicated 110V, 30A circuit for proper operation.
- Smooth hydraulic lifting and controlled lowering.
Who the PMRL-200 Is For
- Home garages wanting a serious two-post style lift without permanent posts.
- Light-duty shops and mobile mechanics servicing a wide mix of vehicles.
- Detailers and specialty service operations that need undercar access in tighter bays.
- Users who may occasionally move the lift between positions or facilities.

Installation was a significant job, but now that the lift is fully set up and weβre used to it, Iβm very happy with how it performs every day.
With the anchors fully set, the whole lift feels like itβs tied into the slab and structure. I have complete confidence working underneath it.
The lift itself is excellent. The only annoyance was that the freight truck arrived near the end of an already broad ETA window.
The lift feels incredibly solid in daily use. A couple of assembly steps in the manual were a bit vague, but we figured them out with extra care.
In use, the lift is flawless. The freight communication was fairly bare-bones, but everything still arrived when it was supposed to.
