Atlas Platinum PVL15 β 15,000 lb ALI Certified Heavy-Duty Overhead 2-Post Truck Lift
The Atlas Platinum PVL15 is a true heavy-hitter: an ALI certified, 15,000 lb capacity overhead 2-post lift designed for commercial shops and serious garages that routinely service larger trucks, fleet vehicles, and long wheelbase pickups. Extra tall, extra wide, and built with dual direct-drive hydraulic cylinders, this lift delivers the strength, stability, and working height you need for real heavy-duty service work.
Heavy-Duty Capacity for Work Trucks & Fleet Vehicles
Rated at 15,000 lbs, the PVL15 goes far beyond standard 9K and 10K lifts. Itβs engineered to accommodate a wide range of vehicles within its rating: from service bodies and long wheelbase pickups to larger SUVs and loaded cargo vans, when properly positioned on the arms.
- 15,000 lb lifting capacity for heavy-duty trucks, service vehicles, and larger SUVs within rating.
- Designed to handle long wheelbase trucks and commercial vehicles in everyday shop use.
- Includes truck adapter set and screw-up frame adapters for tall frames and varied lift points.
Overhead 2-Post Design β Extra Tall & Extra Wide
The Atlas Platinum PVL15 uses an overhead design with an integrated padded shut-off bar, leaving the floor between the posts clear for jacks, stands, oil drains, and equipment. Extra height and width give you the space needed to position and lift larger work trucks comfortably.
- Overhead configuration with padded shut-off bar to help protect tall vehicles.
- Extra-tall columns with overall height about 174 1/2″.
- Overall floor width around 148″ with wide drive-thru clearance.
- Engineered as an ALI certified, commercial-grade lift for professional environments.
Direct-Drive Hydraulics & Premium Power Unit
Instead of chain-drive, the PVL15 uses dual direct-drive hydraulic cylinders for smooth, efficient lifting and fewer moving parts. Itβs powered by a premium ALLY power unit, tested for electrical compliance in the U.S. and Canada for added peace of mind.
- Dual direct-drive hydraulic cylinders for stable, efficient lifting.
- Premium ALLY power unit designed for commercial-duty use.
- Dual-point lock release for positive control over mechanical safety locks.
- Heavy-duty 3/8″ equalization cables and robust column construction.
Working Height & Lift Range
The Atlas Platinum PVL15 is built to get big vehicles up where you need them. With adapters installed, you can reach a maximum lifting height of about 87 1/2″, giving excellent undercar clearance for stand-up work.
- Max lifting height (without adapters): approx. 72 3/4″.
- Max lifting height (with truck adapters): approx. 87 1/2″.

Installation was a significant job, but now that the lift is fully set up and weβre used to it, Iβm very happy with how it performs every day.
With the anchors fully set, the whole lift feels like itβs tied into the slab and structure. I have complete confidence working underneath it.
The lift itself is excellent. The only annoyance was that the freight truck arrived near the end of an already broad ETA window.
The lift feels incredibly solid in daily use. A couple of assembly steps in the manual were a bit vague, but we figured them out with extra care.
In use, the lift is flawless. The freight communication was fairly bare-bones, but everything still arrived when it was supposed to.
