Aston ASL-MR8047 β 8,000 lb Mid-Rise Scissor Lift, 47″ Lift, Electric Lock Release, 220V
The Aston ASL-MR8047 is a professional-grade 8,000 lb mid-rise scissor lift that gives you quick, comfortable access for wheel, brake, and undercar work without committing floor space to a full-rise lift. With a low 4.3″ minimum height, powerful 220V hydraulic system, and electric safety lock release, itβs a strong solution for home enthusiasts and commercial shops that want real lifting capacity in a compact footprint.
Mid-Rise Design for Fast Service
This mid-rise scissor lift is built to speed up everyday jobsβtires, brakes, suspension, exhaust, and general inspectionsβwhile keeping the vehicle at a convenient working height. Vehicles drive onto the diamond-plate platforms via the integrated ramps, which lock into place as platform extensions for longer wheelbase vehicles.
- Ideal for tire, brake, and suspension work on vehicles within the 8,000 lb rating.
- Comfortable mid-rise height makes undercar access easier than jacks and stands.
- Drive-up ramps lock as platform extensions for longer cars and SUVs.
- Compact mid-rise layout helps keep the bay open and easy to maneuver around.
8,000 lb Capacity with 47″ Lifting Height
With an 8,000 lb lifting capacity and a maximum lift height of 47″, the ASL-MR8047 is designed to handle a wide range of everyday vehicles when properly positioned and within rating. The low minimum height of about 4.3″ makes it easier to work under many late-model cars and crossovers.
- 8,000 lb capacity for many passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks within spec.
- Max lifting height: 47″ β generous mid-rise height for wheel and undercar work.
- Min. height: 4.3″ for easier access to lower vehicles.
- Multiple mechanical lock positions let you choose a comfortable working height.
Mobile or Fixed-Mount Flexibility
The Aston mid-rise scissor lift can be set up as a mobile unit using the included mobility kit, or fixed-mounted for a more permanent installation. This gives you flexibility in how you use your spaceβslide it into position when you need it, or flush-mount / set it in a dedicated bay.
- Mobile kit makes it easier to move the lift around a smooth, level shop floor.
- Can be used as a fixed-mount lift in a dedicated service bay.
- Rollers lift off the ground when the lift is raised for added stability during use.
- Capable of being recessed or flush-mounted (when properly installed) to keep the floor profile low.
Electric Lock Release & 24V Safe Control System
Instead of a manual lock release, the ASL-MR8047 uses an electric safety lock release system controlled through a 24V low-voltage control circuit. This provides convenient, button-controlled lowering while keeping the operator away from high-voltage components.
- Electric safety lock release β quick, convenient unlocking at the control panel.
- 24V safe control system for low-voltage operator controls.
- Safety design helps prevent one end from tilting during lifting and lowering.
- Mechanical safety locks engage automatically at height for added security.
Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Power & Cooling
A 220V electric-hydraulic power unit drives the lift, delivering smooth, consistent lifting performance for frequent use when wired to a properly sized circuit. An aluminum motor with fan cooling helps reduce heat during extended operation.
- 220V power requirement β designed for typical shop electrical service.
- Aluminum motor with cooling fan helps manage operating temperatures.
- Hydraulic cylinders equipped with anti-surge valves for controlled movement.
- Self-lubricated bushings and bearings reduce wear and maintenance demands.
Safety-Focused Construction
The Aston mid-rise scissor lift is built for stability and repeatable use when installed on suitable concrete and used correctly. Multiple safety systems work together to help keep the vehicle secure while in the air.
- Electrical safety lock system with mechanical locking positions.
- Anti-tilt safeguards designed to keep the platforms level front-to-rear.

Installation was a significant job, but now that the lift is fully set up and weβre used to it, Iβm very happy with how it performs every day.
With the anchors fully set, the whole lift feels like itβs tied into the slab and structure. I have complete confidence working underneath it.
The lift itself is excellent. The only annoyance was that the freight truck arrived near the end of an already broad ETA window.
The lift feels incredibly solid in daily use. A couple of assembly steps in the manual were a bit vague, but we figured them out with extra care.
In use, the lift is flawless. The freight communication was fairly bare-bones, but everything still arrived when it was supposed to.
