Triumph NT9FP β 9,000 lb Floor-Plate 2-Post Auto Lift, Symmetric/Asymmetric Arms, 220V
The Triumph NT9FP is a 9,000 lb floor-plate two-post lift engineered for garages that need full undercar access without the extra height of a clearfloor overhead design. Itβs a proven choice for home garages, light commercial shops, and detail bays that service everything from compact cars to many SUVs and light trucks within its capacity.
Floor-Plate Design for Low Ceilings
Instead of an overhead crossbar, the NT9FP uses a low-profile floor plate to carry hydraulic hoses and cables. This makes it a strong option for garages with lower ceiling heights where an overhead clearfloor lift wonβt fit.
- Designed to work in many low-ceiling garages and shops.
- Floor plate keeps cables and hoses protected along the floor between columns.
- Excellent for general repair bays, tire and brake service, and home garages.
Symmetric & Asymmetric Arm Options
The NT9FP includes a combination arm set that can be configured for either symmetric or asymmetric lifting, giving you flexibility for different vehicle types and door-opening clearance.
- 2-stage and 3-stage arms to reach a wide range of lifting points.
- Symmetric setup for longer wheelbase trucks and vans within rating.
- Asymmetric setup to move vehicle doors behind the posts for easier entry/exit.
- Includes truck adapters to help lift taller-frame vehicles.
Capacity & Working Height
With a 9,000 lb lifting capacity, the Triumph NT9FP is built to handle most daily-driver cars, many SUVs, and light trucks within specification. A generous 72″ lifting height provides comfortable undercar working room, while the low 4.5″ pad height makes it easier to reach modern lower-profile vehicles.
- 9,000 lb capacity for typical passenger cars and light trucks within rating.
- 72″ max lifting height for undercar repair, exhaust, and inspection work.
- 4.5″ lowered pad height to help get under lower vehicles.
- Multiple lock positions allow you to choose a working height thatβs comfortable.
Powerful 220V Hydraulic System
A dedicated 220V, 3 HP power unit drives the hydraulic system, delivering smooth, consistent lifting performance suitable for busy home garages and light commercial use when installed and wired correctly.
- 220V single-phase motor for strong, reliable lifting power.
- Typical lifting time around 40 seconds to full height.
- Includes power unit and floor-mounting hardware.
Safety & Construction
The NT9FP is built from heavy-duty steel and designed to meet recognized quality standards when installed on properly rated concrete. Dual-column safety locks and a dual-point lock release help keep the vehicle secure while in the air.
- Dual-point mechanical lock release β operator-controlled from both columns.
- Multiple lock positions in each column for secure storage and working heights.
- Engineered to be installed on properly rated, structurally sound concrete per manufacturer guidelines.
- Powder-coated finish for added corrosion resistance and clean appearance.

Installation was a significant job, but now that the lift is fully set up and weβre used to it, Iβm very happy with how it performs every day.
With the anchors fully set, the whole lift feels like itβs tied into the slab and structure. I have complete confidence working underneath it.
The lift itself is excellent. The only annoyance was that the freight truck arrived near the end of an already broad ETA window.
The lift feels incredibly solid in daily use. A couple of assembly steps in the manual were a bit vague, but we figured them out with extra care.
In use, the lift is flawless. The freight communication was fairly bare-bones, but everything still arrived when it was supposed to.
